Oil Filter Cover Update

Hey All,

Just changed the oil in my bike and noticed the 2013 models have threads in the oil filter cover bolt holes. Find a pair of bolts that fit the threads in the cover holes. The larger bolts act as forcing screws to push the cover out.. slick as duck crap. Maybe 2012 owners can buy the 2013 cover and use it instead.

This is the dumbest design for an oil filter cover. I mean c'mon why did they not think to make it more easy to remove?

Any chance they have also put a stronger liner on the engine case?

Just wondering what would happen if someone backed out one bolt too far ahead of the other, stripping the thread
