i look forward to geting termi

slip on or full

my question is if i get the full termi will the old shield still be available?

If your going to get a full Termi, do it NOW. Inventory will shortly run out and then you have no choice but to go with the new one and the larger heat shield. Although, some enterprising third party may come out with alternative shields.

I would recommend that you also get it ceramic coated and polished.

Nothing like seeing "RACING EVO" on the dash ... FULL system.

From what I have gathered, the manifold has been redesigned and will be available for purchase next month. Pics of the new mani have been posted in the '13 DP catalog.

do you have a picture of this? for some strange reason i cant find it online. or can you just tell me the difference. I only got slips because the old manifold decreased performance

Good thing you know a guy to sell your slips to! :)

this might be a dumb question, but will the new manifold hook up to the termi slips without issues or are the diameter bigger/smaller where they meet?

Nah, it was posted in one of the threads a while back along with a catalog pic...only if i could remember which thread now:confused:.

Says for R version only, looks like I'm SOL. Too bad, I need as much HP as possible passing old ladies in a 25.

That's definitely is going to be even more PITA to install. Horizontal cylinder clearance is already bad enough.

Does anyone know why the pro version would not fit any 1199 ?

Is there some clearance issue ?

I have the current full Termi and asked my dealer if the new system would work, or at least the manifold and they told me NO. I also currently have on order the new carbon heat shield for the complete termi system, curious to see how it comes out. It will be on beginning of next week sometime.

cap i just got the slips im not selling them just adding the pipe if it is worth it.

Sounds like it may not fit so you may as well just order an R. It comes with the full system so you can sell me the slips off your parts bike (your current Pani). :)

It will fit any 1199,but in order to do so you have to remove the rad fan (the new manifold bend needs this room where the fan was situated). Unless your bike is soley track focussed, removing the fan for road use with kill the bike (and add a s**t more heat)!

My bike is a bit unique in that it does not have a heat problem, I removed the fan weeks ago.

really?!?!?

I don't want to encourage him, but it does bring up a good question since most of the people on the forum are going to use the R for street use. Does it really not have a radiator fan? I can't imagine it doesn't so is the bike built just a bit differently to accommodate the new pipe?
