Glad to be part of this forum. I've been taking my '93 Ducati 900SS Supersport to the track since I got her in '95. It's been hot rodded with 944 barrels, 42 Kehins, lightened flywheel, slipper ...the list goes on. I also raced a FZR400 one season in CCS. I took some time off to raise the kids and now I'm back at it. Snapped up a 2020 V4 late this season. It suffered a minor drop and since there were some scratches on the swing arm the insurance co totaled it. PO fit it all up with new skin, Ducabike switches, triple, clipons and rearsets. Since it was now had a salvage title I got it for a relative song. It's a track only bike so salvage title is ok and fine with me.
I've had a couple of F1s too but I've sent them off. I just could not fit my 6' frame on them.
I wrench a lot on my own. I used to be air cooled and analog and now I'm riding a computer! Hoping to find mechanical advise for the V4 and share what I know.
