On Throttle, bike gets jumpy

I just arrived at the office and the last mile the bike got so jumpy. Being slightly on the throttle was ok, but regular throttle makes the bike jump and stop, kinda goes crazy strong and then kills the throttle automatically. What can this be? It's not really rideable anymore. I guess I have to call Roadside assistant from Ducati.

Wonder what this is. Maybe electric?

A simple thing is to check the battery terminals. I know mine got loose in 1k miles and did weird things.

Cool. I got it picked up form Ducati Roadside now and will know shortly. I had not tools with me to check the battery terminal.

Cheers

I am wondering about this also. My bike is very jerky when it is on first and second gear.
I want to add that this happened when I held the clutch.

Are you talking about the sub 45 mph/ below 5K rpm surging?

They are know to surge below 5K rpm (Mine does big time below 5500 rpm) .

Get a Rapid Bike unit installed and it will usually clear it up..

Just part of the "Ducati Character" Either modify it with the R/B unit or get used to it.. From my experience, the Dealer cannot usually fix it and will probably just tell you that there is nothing wrong with it and that is the just way they are.(you know being big twins an all LOL) Even though KTM and Aprillia twins don't as a common even. act like that or suddenly stall in the middle of a parking lot etc...
I wonder how many Panigales would be sold if people got to try them out fist and the Demo bike ran like that? I know I would never have bought one knowing it has those issues..
