Thanks buddy, i care about this place and try to improve the culture and be helpful...mostly..there are a few here who test this with me haha..

doing your own work is very fulfilling.  Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance kinda thing buddy...if you haven't heard of that, recommend you pick up a copy!  life changing!

In the end youll need to start small and easy...and progress as your confidence increases...being handy with tools and comfortable with torque wrenches is key as well.  Read a lot, watch a lot of videos and take every opportunity to talk to and learn from actual Ducati Master Techs...they are not all created equal though.

Take your time, enjoy the process and enjoy the learning and satisfaction that your saving THOUSANDS of $$ this way.

An the first service check is cheesy!  but important that someone (you pay or do it yourself) checks every bolt you can see and easily access.  I take that opportunity to torx seal every bolt, or use marker/pen...something so that visually you can see if anything moved...subframe bolts...brakes...these bikes vibrate a lot, you will find some that worked loose.  Dont stress about finding every bolt...just work that check into your routines every time you do some maintenance...do a pre ride inspection visually checking all your markings on the bolts...

Good luck, and come back here if/when you need help.  lots of cool cats here, lots of helpful folks!
