Nice ! I'm sure you'll have a few haters on here , calling your bike a TRI-poser , but I say it's a good idea ! If those are the colors you like , why not ?

Cool, that's a great idea if you like the Tri paint job, but don't need/want the other stuff that's part of the package.

More info please......where'd you get it from and is it standard eBay / Chinese quality?

How much? OEM fairings are usually a total rip off.

Ha! And paying an extra $9K just to have a paint job when you don't want or need the other things that come on the Tri? I bet it's safe to say that if you can buy brand new, OEM, top of the line color scheme for a bike then buying the bike they come on wouldn't have been an issue. Just saying.

Hey Bolds any reason why you didnt get them in Carbon ??....would definetly lighten the bike up more.

I wasn't comparing. Just want cost. OEM fairings are usually $3-4,000. Personally I wouldn't spend that kind of money on OEM fairings, I'd look into aftermarket.

$9k to upgrade to a Tric from which model - a Base??

Don't forget the other good stuff, which I can't believe some part of you doesn't "want", regardless if you "need" it or not :eek:

Wheels = want
LEDs = want
Rear shock = need
Termi's = need

:)

Thank you very much for this useful information.
It's not cheap, but still bearable. I guess my S will be a Tri with a cheaper insurance.
*grin*

What GBP1656, so what EUR2000 give take:eek:
