Could anybody with the Ohlins steering damper please post the total length of the Panigale Ohlins steering damper?
I have a new one that was for a R1, however they look identical to the ones I've seen on the 1199 Tri (See below)

thanks!

I doubled checked for you and its exactly the same length. I took a pic but since you cant see the whole dampner in one shot you can verify the length (too much dash obscuring it)

The one thing though is the body of the dampner has a center mount eyelet. Cant quite see in your pic if the one you have there will work as I cant tell if anything is under the tape measure. But I do see a bracket in the upper left corner.

If yours looks like this then you should be just fine, stock one is 10" from center of eyelet to end of shaft

You might need one of these if your stock clipon doesnt have the support for it already

Hey Falco, just be careful and mindful of were the damper fits on the handlebar. The standard fit Ohlins damper has a bigger diameter spherical bearing than that R1 unit you have there. There could be interference when bars are turned all the way to the side because of the angle. Assure yourself that its fine before riding. If there is an issue then that bracket cooljam pointed out should work ok. Hope it fits. Best of luck.

Thanks for the warning. I'll keep you posted.

thanks guys. So, the lenght will work, but the holes are too big. Getting new bolts with sleeves built in ($12 each) and it will do the trick.

thanks again!
