I just look lap data my last track day..
Speed max:287 km/h
Rpm max: 11433 rpm...
Gearing was org 15/39...
Bike normal panigale S tri..

Looks alike, cant go much faster, if limiter hit 11.500...
How is possible, someone can go over 300km/h panigale....

Drag/weight won't affect the mechanical top speed of the bike, it only effects how easy it is to get there.

I'm not sure how people do 300kph to be honest, I've never tried up to this point. Maybe you just need a longer straight to give 'er all she's got and find out ;)

I have standard gearing and managed to have a quick glimps at the speedo, 272km/hr on the speedo. This was on the road (and yes I should not be doing that sort of speed but could not help myself, big straight and no-one around) the bike had more left in rev range but I was thinking ..... that corner is coming quicker than I thought. Your speed on the track is awesome and should be able to crack that magical 300 mark.

I think that's showing the max for each, not the maximum of all together.

How irresponsible...:D

max rotational speed of the Panigale with standard wheels (~26in) and gearing (15/39) is roughly 193 mph 310kph at redline (11,000 rpm). oddly enough the R is about the same, the extra 500 revs just about make up for the additional teeth in the rear.

rpm x (1/1.84)(primary drive) x (24/23)(6th gear) x (15/39)(chain) =w (rpm)

w x (2pi/60)(1/s) x 26 in x (63360/3600) (s/h)(mile/in)= velocity(mph)

oddly enough at peak horsepower you should be doing 188 mph (302 kph)

to go faster, you could always go down teeth in the rear sprocket, up in the front, or put taller tires on. note changing the sprockets for higher top end will sacrifice acceleration.

I'm a bit of a geek.

make sure u move the mouse along the graph to ur peak speed and look what revs ur pulling, as the scale thing on the side throws extra numbers on, my graph said 273 on the left but if u ran the mouse over it never went over 268.
