Hi All,
I recently bought a 1000 miles old Panigale V2 2021 in white.
After few miles on the road I am only going to use this bike on the track. After 2 track days in Donington Park UK, I decided that I would like to change the silencer the bike.
This is for 3 reasons:
1) reduce heat (main reason)
2) save weight
3) improve sound

Akra full system would be the ideal choice if not for the crazy £4K price. Even just the silencer is nearly £3K.
Looking around MIVV and Arrow seem to build good alternative silencers.
Can anyone advise?
In particular:
1) will I need to re-map the bike?
2) can I get ready plug and play maps?
3) how do the three compared?
Thanks
Nic

You get what you pay for to a degree, the Akra and map are a solid reliable solution, I dont know whats better or worse as it's a big "depends" question. IMHO for looks, quality, sound you can't go past Akra or Termis and feedback from some UK members suggests some of your track sound limits may reduce options. Check the second hand market, people change exhausts like underwear around here, you might get a bargain.

I can only comment on the V2 with Arrow. IMO, the price is great, sound is great, looks are great, fit is great, noise is great (if you like it loud). My Arrow was a CAT delete, so I had to remap (used SLR Tuning). As others said, you may have some noise restrictions in the UK/EU. The good ol' USA doesn't care one bit about noise (other than that neighbor country called California (and maybe a spot here and there around other states)). Heat is better with the Arrow, but it is still a Panigale and roasts my ^$%s off in traffic. It is fine on the track in short sprints.
