LOL that "youtube" click bait .... does work huh... j/k

I finally picked my bike up today after a few premature erections thanks to my misinformed dealer lol.

No review to give because I haven't even ridden the bike yet, very much unlike me. I'm that guy in a hurry to get her broken in, not that that stops me from immediately putting "good" oil in and ride as I please !!

I wont get a chance to ride until sunday. I considered and thought it would be pretty cool to put the first miles on at NCBIKE on sunday but, I don't like to attend trackdays solo and just too short a notice for anyone I know.

With that said, obligatory pics below.

She spent the night in my kitchen, where there's the brightest light ...and a fire extinguisher bahaha :p. I removed 50% of the fairings, just to get familiar and clean everything...that this grease on the chain that gets on everything. Disconnected the servo cables (who needs quiet). Also removed the exhaust can shields to ceramic coat them first thing in the morning. I love how easy it was to remove the shields. GP shift already set up.

In terms of quality, fit and finish, attention to details I think Ducati somehow still improved upon the previous Panigale. All the little issues I had seem to be address, from the kickstand which could not be deployed with your foot while seated on the bike to now accomplishing GP shift as quick and simple as relocating the rod end :).

I cancelled my full Akra exhaust today when I picked my bike up, partially because of how long it's taking to arrive.

The DNA rep was there today and tried to explain that the delay is partly because each system is hand built and welded, also that Speciales have priority.

My tech was saying 10hrs labor ugh, at $115/hr I think. And that if you install the system your self it voids the warranty SMMFH lol.

Needless to say, I told them to still order the system so that they'd have it ...just in case lol

WELL, ILL POST PICS TOMRW ...THIS FORUM IS NOT WANTING TO UPLOAD WHAT I HAVE AND I DONT FEEL LIKE RESIZING RIGHT NOW.

Are you sure? On the V2 bikes you also needed a wiring harness to flip the polarity of the micro-switches on the shift rod. The V4 continues to use the same system.

Yes I'm sure! :) The shifter lever is designed with two mounting points to push or pull the rod and the QS sensor recognizes push or pull as oppose to "shifting up or down" ...hope that makes sense.

On the previous design because there wasn't two mounting points for the rod directly on the shifter lever and the QS assembly only recognized up shifts you would need to buy the specific reverse shift rod for GP shift if you wanted to still have the QS feature.

Good job Ducati!!

Yes, he's correct. Already had mine on track with this setup.

How long they say it will take them to get you the Akrapovic exhaust? I have one brand new and I’m considering to sell it to buy the Termignoni

You have one onhand? Hmmm ...and you're considering the Termi over the Akra? Really?

They couldn't give me a date, which is why I cancelled.

I got dibs on your Akra, if its better deal than my dealer lol

I do but I'm not 100% sure if I want to sell it yet. I was told by my dealership there are only 4 systems in the country but I think they were trying to sell me the system lol
