Parting out prices?

I would say $650 for the headlight, and maybe $1500 for the bodywork?

.... all . Your bike will be worth more for re sale if you keep it .

I don't think so. I track this thing atleast bi weekly. By the time I'm done it would need tons of work to de track it and would be disingenuous to try and make it appear to be a street bike.

I plan to keep the bike for 3-5 years and at the rate I'm going nothing will remain stock.

Also I haven't laid it down yet but c'mon sooner or later the bike will be crashed and then what? No one wants a crashed street ducati 1199S for high price.

I have always sold my old race bikes with the street gear they sell quicker .
It's always the first question someone asks me .
If you do decide to put it back to street trim it's a easy job to do and always let the buyer know it's history . Master the 520 conversion first .;)

How long do you hold on to your track bikes usually?
