Plate relocation/Fender eliminator kits 1299

Hi all,

Was browsing the various sites and was trying to see what the options are to get rid of the Star Trek Enterprise plate holder on the tail of the Pani. I am assuming that it will be similar to the 1199, but with the redesign of the tail on the 1299, I am not certain.

Has anyone installed any of these kits on their bikes yet? I saw that Competition Werks had an option out that included a block-off plate, but I have found that their stuff isn't the highest quality in the past. Saw one from Evotech, but it doesn't seem "clean" enough for what I want... Few other random ones didn't have the block-off plate.

Anyhow, was just hoping someone had a good solution and maybe even a few pics.

I went with the New Rage Cycles one, but modded it quite a bit.

It normally mounts with double sided tape(?!). I changed it to mount with screws and nuts. I also polished the plexiglass sections that the LEDs are mounted in, and removed the center and lower portion of the license plate frame.

Liking the look of that New Rage Cycles one... Especially if mounted like you described.

The DP cf shorter tail is sweet with custom leds put on it.

The Ducati Performance kit with the Ducati Performance LED turn signals is nice as well.

Come to think of it, the DP turn signals even make the stock fender look worlds better. Its the reflectors and huge signals which kill it.

I've just ordered the Rizoma tail tidy with LED indicators.

A bit pricey, but you definately get what you pay for. All fully machined cover plates etc, not just a cut, bent and rivited sheet.

It says for previous models, but I've had a good look at mine (2015 R). All the mounting points and fixings are identical including the sub frame so you should have no problems. It's the plastics over top that have been altered.
