So, after a nasty accident that requires the replacement of the triple-tree, I'm looking for advice on how to best support the machine while I do the work.
I do not have access to an overhead tether or anything like that; rather, I have to support the bike from underneath.
Does anybody know if the magnesium sump is robust enough to support the bike (e.g. on blocks) while this work is performed?
I will have the rear wheel in the grip of a Hardy lift and the bike tied down to stabilize it.
Thanks for your consideration.

Yes, I use a floor jack with a block of wood, but bike lifts like dirt bikes use are readily available if you want to spend money
