I'm just in the process of installing the kit. I pressed a genuine Ducati bearing into the pressure plate. The bearing spun easily on its own. Now that it is pressed into the pressure plate, the bearing takes a fair bit of effort to spin. Definitely does not spin easily.
It feels like the pressure plate is a tight enough fit that it has contracted the outer race of the bearing a bit, causing the outer race to put pressure on the ball bearings.
The bearing spins smoothly, just tight and tough to spin.
Anyone else noticed this? Curious if this is normal?
