Hello,
this bike is a 2022 and hasn't been ridden much since he purchased it two years ago and has been mostly sitting in a garage. It would be my first Ducati, what things would I have to look into if I purchased it? Since it hasn't had the initial service yet, would I have to change out the fluids/oil from a Ducati dealership and then have to get the initial service done after the 600 miles? It's been kept on a battery tender when not in use, I'd probably swap out the stock battery with a new lithium ion battery. Would a tire change be necessary on a bike so new that was barely ridden? Any thoughts on anything I might have missed?

He wants to sell it to me for $15,750 but I want to get it closer to the $14,000-15,000. Is it a fair deal at $15,750? or should I try to get it for lower?

2022 wasn’t all that long ago. The only thing I’d do is get rid of the gas that’s in the tank and fill it up with fresh gas. Take all of the fairings off and inspect. Make sure there’s no signs of rodent damage etc.

There should be a date code on the tires, but being that’s it’s a 2022 I wouldn’t worry about it. In the very least get through the break in miles with them.

Sup!
Gas removal and replace, oil removal and replace is definetly recomended, overall check and I would put new tires

If all you're risking is a 20 year old gixxer that's already saw a gravel trap...I wouldn't do a track day on seven year old tires but I don't see the harm in getting some break-in miles on two or three year old tires.

Ive tracked many Corsa IIs over the past couple year, all of them about 3rys old when i got them. No issues at all. If properly stored in cool, dark, low humidity enviroment...no need to be concerned.
I draw the line at 4-5yrs personally.

Is it the V2S, or base model? I assume the S based on the asking price. That will affect the price/worth.

I thought it did. Oh well haven’t really paid attention the twins lately.

Cool. Yeah! The Bayliss is awesome! I honestly prefer the Bayliss than the V4…steticly speaking

I would pull the tank off to make sure there isn't a rodent nest in there. I found one in my car's air box last year.
