Hi guys, maybe somebody can help me out on a quick shifter issue.
Recently my quick shifter stopt working, as a result of this red flags at the dash and a blinking riding mode indicator. After research it appeared that the micro switch on the shift rod failed to give the right signal to the motormanagement. We replaced it and everything was okay again..
I noticed though that for some reason the motormanagement detects if the (new) micro switch is plugged in or not; even though if the option DQS is turned off. I remember there was another discussion a while ago that the micro switch on the clutch lever also has to do something with it.
With other words; does the motormanagement need to get a signal anyhow from the shift rod switch? No matter if DQS is switched on or off?
