I took a position for an R arriving in June at A and S Powersports in Sacramento Ca.

This has cased me great anguish as my wife would not approve as I had bought my last bike just 6 month prior. For close to 40 years I have always had her approval but this one came at a bad time and I had went out on limb and decided to pull some money out of my investments to purchase.

As of today we came to a settlement that if I wait for the next round I will have her best wishes. The problem is since I took this position I know A & S have passed another buyer and I feel responsible to make this right. They have treated me very well and are some of the best people that I have dealt with.

If interested please ask for Harrison Cole and mention that I had sent you.

well sloopy, i wish you well in the next round? question is, how many years between rounds.. ?
 
Just months. Our agreement is that I wait for the next bike available at my dealer which will be toward the end of the year when they get next year models in; then I get my balls back.

And thanks for reminding me I'm pussy whipped. We have a saying around our area that "Nothing beats the power of the vaginal wrench".
 
I don't think they will have a problem selling that R.

On the other subject, my wife and I agree on all major purchases such as vehicles. The good thing is, she normally doesn't have an issue with me buying motorcycles and cars. She has a good supply of clothes, shoes, and expensive purses.

What he meant to day was "While big game hunting in the jungle, I was attacked by a band of wild hamsters and after killing them all with my bare hands, I found I had contracted rickets. I figured while waiting for the serum, I would let someone else buy and enjoy this bike until I was cured"

I was dreaming about the R but I know my GF would have killed me...

I know the feeling , hope you find a buyer soon!;)
 
Reminds me of the ad for a motorcycle for sale...

For sale, XXX Bike. Low miles, excellent condition. Selling because I guess "do whatever the .... you want to do" doesn't mean what I thought it meant.
 
I wanted to buy an S when it first came out in 2012 missus said no need to wait 12 months to which i was pissed as ! Yesterday i picked up my R and it was worth the wait this thing is INSANE!!!!! good things come to those who wait.
 
I work.....I pay the bills......I went to college.....I went to grad school at nights.....so....I decide what bike I need/want/buy....as long as the bills are paid......just sayin
 
Currently I am in your shoes. but I still brought the R home. Did my wife get mad? oh yes and she even threw a tantrum that will make a spoiled 5 year old child in a toystore seem "Behaved".

She is asking me to sell the bike but I will not do it. I had sold the Diavel the other day and gave her the money. I hope it is not a band aid solution to a much bigger problem..
 
I treat my woman like gold......but she understands that she cannot get in the way of what I love to do. She knows I work my ass off.....and need to have my passions.

Honestly, I think they respect you more for it over time.....as long as you don't screw it up......just make sure the bills get paid

I'm 40 years with this one and she has always been great. I bought my AMG 10/2012 & have put 15 k in to it since. If I go ahead now I won't hear the end of it. Wait 6 months & I have her blessing. I will wait!
 
The fact that you & the missus have lasted 40 years means you have developed great wisdom, Grasshopper. Besides, you now have 6 more months to fantasize ... :D

I just make sure her gifts are the same size as mine. Who could complain about that ?
 
I make more than the wife (hopefully for not too much longer :D ) but I still give her the courtesy of saying no, not that she ever has. I said, "I'm buying a $30,000 bike today, okay?" ..."Do you need to spend $30,000 on a motorcycle?"..."Yes."..."Okay."
