Man, are you going to love it!! I struggled with the decision of whether to go with the R, or the 1299S and it came down to the fact that I commute every day and would have felt bad subjecting the R to that kind of a grind...

Cheers and PLEASE, PLEASE share your thoughts with us on how it feels, rides etc.. Can't wait to hear your review. :D
 
I cant imagine having this beauty in front my my eyes and saying "picking up later in May." Yikes!
 
Damn, didn't know the R's were stateside yet. I was going to stop in there tomorrow to check out some leathers actually. Maybe sneak a peak if they let me.

Cool, I might see you at Thunderhill, if I can arrange to be there that weekend. :D I LOVE that track, especially turn 2 and the whole back section from 6 - 14.
