I love the new Pirellis, but if you are not used to pirellis or the new sizes - I can see why it would be strange outing esp in a race. That is why I have never even tried another tire...

Each to their own, but I do feel you're missing out! Even if it confirms your love for Slipirelli :D

This weekend alone, I ran a Bridgestone and a Metzeler rear. Two different Sliperelli fronts (120 and 125) and a Dunlop front.

Variety is the spice of life...

I tried the 125 on Friday.

Nearly sold my V4R, again ‍♂️

Then I tried a Dunlop 120, and went four seconds faster.

And love my V4R more than anything in the world ever.

What compounds do you recomend on the dunlops rick?

Have been wanting to try them out for a while

People say they last longer, and grip well during their life, and pirellis grip a bit more, but don’t last as long, and grip decreases

I've only tried the soft front (is it MS01?). Sometimes the harder compounds can be better, I find the medium Bridgestone far better than the soft, it gives more confidence in the corner and on the brakes. But I felt very comfortable on the Dunlop soft. Loved it, but need to work on setup still, may get slightly better feel yet...

I would probably agree with your statement, although I think it is more directed at the rear tyre. Most fronts, last a similar amount of time, and perform to a similar level. Ironically, the Pirelli front last longer than the Bridgestone.

Just watched your last video

I see you came to like the 125 front now

Gives me more confidence on trying it at cota, this next trackday

I was on the Dunlop 120 in the end Rodolfo!

Don't sweat it though, I know a lot of people that like the 125. Just see how you feel about it. And, if it's not for you, Dunlop will welcome you
