Race frame and Inertial platform for new fairings?

I am currently working with MotoxpRicambi on a new set of race fairings. They seem very professional and have recommended me to consider getting the following components in addition to the fairing set:

- Front race frame
- Rear race frame
- Inertial platform support (for the gyroscope)

The bike is a Panigale R (2015) and just wondering if any of you know the necessity/advantages in purchasing the above three components together with the fairings?

Advise very much appreciated

I purchased fairings from them but only bought the inertial platform. Not the subframe or front stay. My understanding is that those two are not absolutely necessary to change. It's just a recommendation.

Thanks for the advise. Any idea of the advantage of the race frames over the standard front and rear?

You don't need to buy a front fairing stay and rear subframe, but it certainly won't hurt if you intend to only track the bike. You will save weight and the bike will have much less clutter on it, also if you crash it's more durable and cheaper to replace, but you have to completely remove the headlight unit and other small components. Make sure you purchase the Ducati electrical race blockoff kit for your tail lights etc. or you will get errors.

If you want to keep your stock fairing stay, then yes you should get their IMU mount.

I purchased a Motoholders race fairing stay which comes with the IMU mount. So far I'm happy with it.

The IMU is very sensitive to changes in it's mounting position so just beware that if you do go with aftermarket fairing stay you might have to do some custom troubleshooting to prevent IMU failure.

I did not replace my rear subframe and the MotoXP fairings fit perfectly.

Thank you for the feedback. Does the Ducati Electrical Block-off kit take care of all the electrically wired components which I will remove such as lights, blinkers, side-stand etc?

The bike will be used for track only, so all standard fairings/lights/side-stand etc will be removed permantly.

Yes it does. The kit will block the headlight, tail lights, and kickstand. I think you will need an additional block-off for the radiator cooling fan if you decide to remove that and install an oil pan. I did, but can't remember exactly what came in the racing kit and what was additional. Someone else on here can confirm but when you order the parts it should tell you what's included.

Also don't forget to block the air temp sensor left behind in the headlight unit or you will get an error.

NW1299, I have to say that is probably the best looking paint job I have seen on a Panigale. That sets it off just perfect.

Thanks man. I borrowed inspiration from similar designs, and still need to apply my number plates and some various stickers. Should look even better when it's all done!
