"Racing Pro" text on startup; what is it?

I recently purchased a 2018 V4S from a Ducati sourcing agent here in Thailand. He works closely with a former Ducati tech and they have access to Ducati tools like Texa. When they were looking over the bike before shipping it to me I asked him to see if he could upgrade my bike to EVO2, and he said the tech upgraded to the latest software for me, and he said it was EVO3, but I don't believe that to be the case as the menu system doesn't look any different than the photos I've seen (I think I saw a photo of the settings where Race in the top left said Race EVO when someone had EVO2), but mine just says race.

So my question is, what the heck is Racing Pro on my startup screen? I've only been able to find references to it related to upmaps from an independent tuning company. Is it a Ducati upmap? Is it meant only for full exhaust systems? (Meaning that I'd be potentially running too rich with my stock exhaust). I've searched extensively but find very few references to this phrase.

Thank you

Racing Pro just shows that the bike's air / fuel mapping has been modified. I don't know if Racing Pro can be unlocked without actually loading a new map.

All the EVO EVO 2 and EVO 3 are just revision to the traction control (DTC). There was a version which was a paid upgrade, I think EVO 2 or EVO2 (may be the Race EVO thing you saw) which was for use with race slicks.

So it is possible that it's a Ducati map? If it's only AF being modified, then I would worry I would be running too rich.

I have an 18 with the Evo2 update and mine shows race evo and modes (race evo, sport evo & rain evo).

That's what I was expecting to see, but I don't have that.

EVO 3 won't have that. His Evo2 is a $700ish option. EVO 3 is the current DTC revision. Its a very confusing naming scheme Ducati uses.

Its possible its a Ducati map, just as its also possible its an optimized map for the stock exhaust. If you have the means to do a dyno run with it, you'll know if its rich and have an idea on how its running since they put a probe in the exhaust.

Good idea about the dyno. We have one locally and we can check AF. I think he can either do it from an insert at the end of the exhaust or by connected to the 02 sensor. His numbers always seem high so it's a shame I can't rely on it to measure the power.
