So, I’m installing a Rapid Bike wiring harnesses and I pull off the injector connector and notice there are two pins missing. Did I leave those two pins in the harness or is it supposed to be like that?

I can not see into the connector and don’t want to jam the RB connector in because the RB has the two missing pins.

Man to be honest Stop with that Piggyback Junk and Get an ECU flash. You wont have to run that mess of wires and an ECU flash gives you way more options. Like turning your O2s off, exhaust Flap OFF. Trust me I went rapid bike. Then I sold it and Got an ECU flash. Motowheels out of California does a great job. ECU unleashed does a good job. Plus Vcyclenut out of FT Myers FL does great work also

I know, but as you can see, I’m way too far into this to go the flash route.

I’m going down Tuesday for a baseline run on my V4 but yeah the flash on my 1299 is the bomb

what was the deal didn’t Vcyclenut use your bike as a test mule for whichever exhaust you chose or was that someone else? Can’t wait till he can dial in my v4

I was test mule with Vandemon on my 1299. Just got something else that's all. That's all David does killer Flashes

Looks like you have mating pins marked in red below... should only go together one way

Yes,

So, I answered my question so I’m good. The issue is my abs module brake line is in the way. They are preventing me from giving the connector a straight in path and I don’t want to push on them too much. This is by far the most difficult thing to do on this install.

Many people say routing the cable is hard, that took me all of 5 minutes after I put cardboard on the radiator then stuffed the connectors into a paper towel tube. It slid right through.

Got it, OMG!!!!

Now I have to route the wires properly. It slid in easy enough when I got brake line out of the way. But now that I look at the picture I question if it’s in straight. Can you even get it that far in without it being straight.

I don’t have the panel on yet so I may take a look at it again before I button it all up.

Did you unbolt the right electronics holder? That should make it way easier to get to that connector

Yes,

I had to unbolt the following

Electronics holder - 3 bolts
Unplug and remove the ecu
Release a connector from the holder
Unbolt bottom cover under holder
Unhook the eBay canister
Remove one bolt for abs module. This only allowed me to slightly move the abs module. But it was just enough.

Once I did all that it took me about 10 to 15 to get the connector lined up right and in.

Prior to all that I did not have enough room to twist connector to line it up.
