Hello Gents,
PLEASE READ THIS DISCRIPTION VERY CAREFULLY!
I am selling a used Rapid Bike Racing module that seems to work perfectly, but does throw an CEL or check engine light about 25-30 seconds after the bike starts. I have had it on my 1199 with full Akrapovic EVO exhaust, MWR filter and stock ECU for roughly 500 miles and the bike runs perfectly.
This unit(serial #12006395) HAS NO warranty at all. It was purchased directly from Dimsport in Italy by a friend. Do not expect to call Yaman at Cycle Pro and get this fixed. I have already sent the module to Yaman for full diagnostics and he found no issues. He completely flashed the unit and reprogrammed it with the latest firmware and maps. Again, my bike runs perfectly.
The module communicates perfectly with the Rapidbike Master software as well and I can see all the live readings from my bike on the Status screen. Voltages are all spot on for the injectors, TPS, module power etc. There is no indication of a problem aside from the CEL. The auto adaptivity maps are generating values consistent with a perfectly functioning Rapid Bike module.
So, if you have a bike out of warranty or track only, this is probably worth trying or if you simply could care less about a CEL then go for it.
The USB cable needed to hook up to your laptop is not included. You will have to buy that for $65. SO, drum roll please...
Price is $275 shipped to your door. That is almost $600 off a new unit. Only you can decide if it is worth it. Thanks-
