I posted in the 1299 thread also but figured I may get the answer here possibly.

Does RB adapt to using other fuels besides 93, for example race fuel or e85?

I asked the question about 98 and 95 and the RapidBike guy here in Australia Gilles told me it would adapt.

Is it a solution with the timing required by the RB race unit or simply fuel that's capable by the RB EVO Unit?

98/95 tuning isnt that much of a change. It will adapt but remember, unless you drain the tank fully, you be mixing different fuel all the time.

E85 I would get a tuner to setup a base map or dyno tune first. E85 requires alot more volume of fuel than gasoline, so to leave it up to the RB to autotune would cause very rough running untill RB sorts itself out.
(i converted a car to E85 and couldnt even drive it onto the trailer to take to tuner even after reflashing E85 base map)

The RB Race has a more advanced timing curve , and you can amanually adjust this via the software . ( On a dyno of course , but recommended to leave it). The EVo has a locked timing advance as OEM. These arent auto adjusted, just the fuel ratios

Oracle, are you racing this bike ?

Nope, not racing. Just a few track days. The question popped into my head when I stumbled upon e85 so close to my house at a new service station and wondered if I could take advantage of it. I have the evo unit.

Stumbled on this thread. Has anyone tried using RB on their Panigale with E85? Anyone know of an auto tuning unit that can handle E85? I called RB and they said initially it will work but then said it is not supported and then not recommended, so maybe covering any liability?
