Rare one of a kind custom built Penske 8970 triple adjust shock for 1199/1299/899 Panigale. Has top out spring shaft bearing and Variable bleed piston option. Extremely custom and one off adjuster option. 550lb Eibach ERS spring powder coated to match Ducati Red. Freshly serviced and dyno'd. Is new condition. Less then 2000 miles total and less then 100 miles after service. No one else will have one like this. It is the highest model made from Penske and is the only actual one that was made for the Panigale.
Selling price is $1400 shipped.

Also For Sale

2010-2012 Multistrada S Upgraded Ohlins springs. They are .75 front springs(stock is .60), and rear Ohlins 95kg spring powder coated to match Ducati Red. (I didnt like the yellow spring) They are brand new and fork springs are still in original package. Will include a set of Torrington Bearings. Price is $150.00 shipped

I can attest that these are wonderful shocks and every bit as good as Ohlin's... maybe better, much easier to work on yourself.. as for one of a kind, I have one on my 1299 so not the only one ever made :D

edit: To be fair I don't have all the bell's and whistles on mine this one has... This the one Berry had at the International Motorcycle show?

Yes, mine was used for a show. This is one of a kind because it was the only one built like this and there will never be any built like this. With this reverse 8770 compression adjuster and res. I wasnt saying one of a kind because it is a Penske, I was saying one of a kind because its a model that was not made for this bike and was especially unique with the forward facing titanium adjusters.

My 8970 doest have the clicker on the side of the reservoir. What does that control?

Ill will also be adding the DP 1199 motorcycle cover. Pics to will be added. Wow, no one interested in the best damper technology avail?
 
Hard to believe there isn't much interest in a rare top of the line piece of hardware like this for 1250
 
Probably because there's so much info and tech support on Ohlins stuff that people who are not so well versed in suspension feel much more comfortable going with something that is commonly used and get more support if needed. I would think this item would suit a particular customer, thus making your chance of a sale that much more difficult, even if it is a better shock than the standard ttx ohlins.
 
1.)What is the weight that the spring set up for ?
2.) Is this a better spring that on the OEM 1199S tricolore?
 
Out of curiosity, how much lighter is this vs. the standard Ohlins?
