Just installed my CF rear air intakes last night and I'm patiently waiting on the CF cowl to come in.

It's a Bestem product and the fit was dead on, no alterations what so ever.

the vents are the plastic stuff inside the middle cowel. bestm is fiberglass with carbon fiber overlay its not 100% carbon. fitment is good. i have both shiftech vents dev6 middle piece 100% carbon.

the piece you have is the tail front insert. these are the vents

I wanted gloss, now looking for undertook section in gloss. Any any input? As all my other CF parts are optimum performance products.

Bestem has 100% carbon products too.. Haven't got the chance to purchase some stuff drom them, but been looking at their sites from now and then. Good to hear that their fitment is dead on.

yes they do not for the 1199 im not bashing their product i have their carbon fiber head cowl as i couldnt have my air ducts connect to plastic and i wasnt spending 350 for a piece that you dont even see. its the piece that is under the winscreen and the air ducts connect to so i went with them

fitment is dead on except for the air duct covers aka dash panels. they dont have the tab

Features: Made from high quality 3K carbon fiber and epoxy resin to provide excellent texture and flexibility. UV protective coating and hand-polished to a perfect finish. Easy installation. Most of our carbon products are direct bolt-on replacement of OEM parts. 6 month limited warranty. We are the only Carbon Fiber brand with the confidence to offer this.

Rear air intake covers not vents everyone and didn't want to spend $250 on something so simple so I went with the brand. I have a 400 rear fender that is yellowing along with Ducati CF so at this point the fact it cost more means nothing to me.

my rear fender started to yellow as well when i put the new heat shield on so i put the old one back on . termi one gloss carbon

My cf mostly consists out of a few glossiefied DP pieces and Carbon2Race. Carbon2Race's fitment is very good. The Carbon2Race pieces that I bought through Austin Racing have problems with the quality of its UV protective gloss coat, but the pieces that I subsequently bought directly from Carbon2Race is absolutely superb like the Dragon Lady's fuel tank and rear hugger.
I abhor cf with fibre glass backing and am therefore giving Bestem a wide berth.

I have same piece OP has and have to admit, without the two separate pieces to go into each vent it looks alot worse- so my vote is to get the whole thing if possible.
