Hi all,

I'm looking at getting some rear sets for my track bike. Whilst i'm gravitating towards the Ducati Performance ones, are there any other brands that I should consider?

Thanks
Al

Ducati Performance rearsets are awesome and their quick(er) gear shift option is even more awesome.

Giamoto is an alternative you should/can consider.

I went with the Lightech R rearsets and love them. They have a wide range of adjustability. I always move my pegs up and as far forward as possible, and they allowed me to do that.

Plus they are very robust.

I have woodcraft and also the DP on my other bike and prefer the woodcraft .
Very well made and all the parts can be replaced if needed .

Man I just bought Gilles foot pegs and replace the OEM ones. Once I crash and .... up those I'll spend the money on a new set of rear sets.

Gilles look cool in pictures and ...., but they are not robust at all. And good luck getting replacement parts for them. I will never own another set of them.

I went the cheap way. Bought new pegs (rizoma) for the stock rear sets as I really don't have the need for adjustability. But if anything I really like Woodcraft as well.

I originally upgraded to Rizoma pegs, which are excellent in that they are far cheaper than replacing the entire rear-set.
After getting into track riding and wanting to go to GP-shift, I went with Woodcraft and I am VERY pleased with them. Fairly priced (no Ducati tax), robust and each individual part is replaceable.
I also looked at the Litech stuff, which is also excellent and some people prefer them because they have a greater range of adjust-ability. For me, I could not get additional performance from them (adjust-ability of the Woodcraft was more than enough for me) compared to the Woodcraft so I went with the Woodcraft. (Much cheaper.)
Whatever you get, if you are riding the track I recommend the version with the fixed pegs (not the foldable). The fixed pegs provide additional crash protection in the event of a low-side.

Agreed with all of that. Woodcraft are great (I know the guys that own Woodcraft). I just don't like the fact that they don't have any forward adjustability. That is an important feature to me.

But aside from that, they are easily the best "bang for the buck" rearsets on the market. And it is easy to get replacement parts.

I really wanted the DP rearsets, I passed on 2 sets that were almost half off (ebay) because of the fact that they were not fixed pegs, I wanted fixed pegs as additional crash protection for my fairings. I've dropped a few other bikes and they have really helped to save my fairings on track and in the parking lot :D.

In the end, I picked woodcraft as well because being able to buy individual parts as replacements was key. There are a lot of other rearsets that look much better than the woodcraft sets, but for those, if you break something and they don't offer each piece individually, then I'll be stuck buying a completely new set, again.

I'll speak for the Gilles. I had them on my previous bike and really enjoyed the simple adjustments with the single pinch bolt. I now have them on my 1199 and couldn't be happier.

for all the woodcraft users with gp shift, does the shift arm that connects the shift peg and the shifter rod rub against the edge of your fairings?

No; it fits perfectly without any modifications.

Not sure how the woodcrafts are for the Panigale but I have them on my cbr and they are great for the price. The pegs are slotted towards the middle of it so that in the event of a crash or tipover, it only breaks off from the slotted area and you still have a bit of peg left so u can still ride it back into the pits or back home if it is still rideable.

They are slotted as well .
