I still use a torque wrench to take off and install, maybe a bit old school...

Agreed. Even torque wrenches need calibration every once in a while. I’m not sure about impact wrench torque accuracy and calibration.

I could be wrong and they’re just as good.

Sure is a convenient way of doing it though.

You should not be using a torque wrench to remove something. That is what breaker bars are for if you don't want to go the impact route. You can easily damage a torque wrench doing that.

I use an electric impact to take it off, and a digital 1/2" drive torque wrench to put it on. Digital for the simple reason I can set it to Newton meters instead of having to convert into foot pounds.

Who said anything about using a torque wrench to remove something?

Did you watch the video?

Did you read all of the posts? FFS. What is going on here lately? Everyone just wants so hard to be offended.

Yep, remove the clip, breaker bar, rear stand, pull the nut and wheel, install nut, torque to 230nm install clip. 1.5 min tops. Not sure why you would ever need to change a wheel faster than that unless you are competing in an endurance event. Nice vid though

I've used it many times without a problem on a 1199, Streetfighter and a Panigale V4S. It doesn't spin it off instantly and it needs a few wacks to get it off but it does every time.
