I refuse to buy anything from Shoptron who processes orders from Ducati as they charge a flat $6.30 per item minimum PER Item even if its a damn keychain. Screw them! Any recommendations to any place that has a lot of Ducati apparel, jeans, key chains, accessories etc that offers reasonable shipping in the USA? Any help is welcomed. Thanks!

Here's a recommendation: don't buy any Ducati riding apparel.

Ducati specializes in motorcycles, not riding gear. There are plenty of companies that focus on riding apparel, I would trust them much more than Ducati for my needs. Besides, no one wants to be the douche who shows up on a Ducati, wearing a Ducati labeled jacket, helmet, gloves, pants, and boots. I know a group of them who show up to bike nights, and I refer to them as the Ducati fan boys. They act like they're the $h!t where ever they are. It's almost (almost!) embarrassing to own a Ducati when they're around.

Here are some better companies:

Jackets: Dainese, Scorpion, RS Taichi, Aplinestar
Boots: Sidi, Aplinestar, TCX
Gloves: Alpinestar, Held, Knox
Helmets: AGV, Bell, Shoei, Scorpion, Suomy

Those are just recommendations, there are plenty of others. I personally own a Dainese jacket, Sidi boots, Held gloves, and a Scorpion helmet, soon to be an AGV.

Check them out, I guarantee you'll find high quality, good looking stuff.

LOL I agree, I am not going for the fanboy club but i would like a few things. I already have a Teknic Jacket, Sho helmet. Just looking for some good riding half boots for around town and some key chains probably. Any thoughts on these boots?

They look like some nice boots, especially for just riding around town. Alpinestar makes a nice product. The key on smaller riding shoes is that they come up over the ankle and are secure, so they don't fly off if you go down obviously. I always tell people if possible to try things on before you buy them.

i do like "some" of the ducati labeled items though...... Im trying to resist the temptation lol

if your looking for boots i highly recommend forma boots. racing boots ice flow and if your looking for something like the mx 1 boot from AS try the velocity boot so much more for your money.

here are the forma boots velocity are the short ones ice flow is the racing ones. if you dont want vents the ice boots have more colors

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that Dainese made some of the Ducati branded jackets.

True, Ducati slaps their name on someone elses stuff sometimes, and that's a bit better than buying strictly Ducati apparel....but still pretty douche-ie ;)

I guess I'm a Ducati fan b/c i just got an Arai Tricolore 12. I really love the leather jacket also but I'll probably get something else like a-star or Dainese. Am I still a Douche?

Hahaha, one thing hardly makes you a douche.....I'm talking about the guys who don't seem to understand other (better) brands exist.

Ok I bought the Alpinestars picture above, i couldn't justify the $100 difference for the SIDI when they are basically the same boot with different names. Now i hope they work the way i hope!

I also like the Arai helmets with the Ducati livery but not a fan of the guy with the ducati with all the matching ducati gear it reminds me of that episode in friends were Joey pretends he owns a porsche and dresses in all porsche apparel.
