Hey Guys,

i have a question on you
I think about remapping my ecu with tuneboy
The trouble is every two years by law i need to pass a exhaust gas test
and for touring i need a not too much increased fuel consumption

If you just have one engine mode its always a compromise.
The best thing would be if one engine mode - race is programmed on max. performance
and the other - sport gets just minimal fine tuning for better driveabilty

Is it possible to get 2 separate maps on the ecu???

If not a power commander might be the only solution

thank you

Greetings

Panimike

Rapidbike is another valuable option. When checking emissions, you can always plug the bypass adapter and you're done.

The Tuneboy setup comes with the factory map. At any time you can plug it in to the connector under the seat and return your bike to factory spec.

Tuneboy will allow you to run 3 different trim maps you can switch between. It is possible to edit one for your needs. Or just flash back to stock as previously stated

Good morning everyone!
I need help, I installed the Power Commander V at 1199 S already with Racing map Ducati and I can not hit the map, any numeral place and when I reduce and accelerate the message, ENGINE on the panel, only when I leave the map all zero , this message does not appear on the panel.
Did any of the members have or could send me a map for me ??
Or guide me how to program the map?
I thank you all.

tuneboy looks quite well for me
the idea with 3 maps changed by the clutch lever is what searched

i haven't completely understood yet what the difference between power commander and rapidbike is

I've ordered TuneBoy last night. Not that I'm missing power or driveability or would install another exhaust (on most tracks I use to go aftermarket exhausts are no way, but stock is always accepted even with 108 dB). I'm sure it's possible to get some more torque between 4'500 and 6'000 rpm and a smoother power curve. And I always had great fun experimenting with ECU values as long as the engine didn't explode.

Hope for an Android app. Not sure if my girlfriend lend me her Eggphone. This would cost me some wellness weekends...

I'm going to go with PowerCommander V. My other applications were successful with PowerCommander but I always have a qualified dealer do the installation. Then I will get it dynoed for further refining by the operator that specifically recommended the PowerCommander.

If your installer shop sells the Power Commander, and its all their guy can work with it makes sense that he would specifically recommend it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Cruise Control.

I use a piggyback solution with my Monster. It works (after playing guinea pig for months) but if I had to choose between flashing the ECU and installing the whole wiring harness the descision is clear. I am fortunate enough to have a tuner with very good reputation near my homeplace and he works with Tuneboy. In Germany Befaster is an authority in this area. They have years of experience with Tuneboy (and also with many other products).
