has anyone needed to replace their stock clutch yet?

at least with another stock one? Im wondering about cost??
I was at the drag strip and never had a problem but my buddy did with his CBR...its much older than my 1199 but it just made me think and wonder.

I dont really see the need to upgrade to a slipper or an expensive clutch.

So I looked at Bellismoto and a few other places...wasnt able to find just a stock clutch replacement....

I'm pretty sure the stock clutch will last a very long time. Don't think you need to worry about that for now. If you wear it out, you just have to get the clutch plates replaced, and it shouldn't cost that much. Around $200 for the plates, and maybe an hour of labor. Also, all Panigales have slipper clutches.

From what I heard it is a GSX R 1000 clutch, in which case it will be bullet proof.

Not a 100% sure, can anyone confirm that?

1199's have slipper clutch, so no need to change them unless you want to return back to the rattle of dry clutches Preparatore di moto per pista, accessori, ricambi e componenti per moto Ducati, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki has them

why the hell would anyone want to do that.....

and thanks all for the answers....i doubted launching the bike a couple of times will wear it out quickly but the drag strip is kinda funand addicting when track days are so few and far between around me...especially when you run past the unsuspecting busa....

dry clutches are easier to maintain at the track. . . thats the primary reason. The other reason is that some Duc aficionados just like/want/need the dry clutch clacking sound. . .. it's a bit annoying at first if you aren't used to it (like everyone asks whether there is something loose in your bike) - but once you're used to it, you kind of miss it. . .

the track is one thing i suppose but i was never happier to get rid of my 1098 for the 1199 because of that thing...

other than the fact i think my 1098 was a piece of junk...not all of them just mine...

but im much happier with the 1199 clutch....i met up with a bunch of other older ducs and all of them had those annoying clacking sounds....good grief...
maybe im a wuss...:D
