that's fine, it looks cool. as long as you don't change the sticker to say "Panigale R" then i don't see a problem with recreating the colors. it's your bike and you're free to make it look like however you feel good about it, don't worry too much about what other people think. i know there are some people here who feel simply changing the red fender on the base to a black fender is trying to copy the S and shouldn't be done but i'm pretty sure most people don't have a issue with it. you're fine.

Just wanted to post up picture's that's all.. I'm far from a poser. I was looking for an R, but this bike popped up with 4,000 miles and full Arka ti-exhaust, showroom condition for Mid 13's.. How can you say no?

Looks dope. I almost did the same to my base model.
I used to have an M5 and would clown heavily on people that tried to make their non-M 535 or 540 look like an M5.

I like the understated look. But my R has never stalled (except for me being a ....) so I don't understand these stalling issues you speak of
