Okay so here I am in the third world and I need to measure ride height on my bike, no I don't have the special tool, hence this post.

How else would you measure it?

Thanks.

tape measure from the top of the axel nut to the point on the rear side fairing near the tail light, it's pretty much vertical....if you have other people about...if it's the rear you're wanting to measure....

I read from Jarel while back when I was looking for information when fitting my Ohlins front and rear that there was no Ducati settings, he recommend 306mm (i think) from center point to center point mounting bolts on the rear shock, I did that and measured my seat height to listed height in the book and it worked out OK for me, also I took the fork measurement from the book from the top edge of the bottom triple clamp to the top of the fork cap 253.87mm Ohlins, that too seems OK. I am not on track just road. Hope that makes sense!
