It's 77 and sunny in Central Florida, but the roads SUCK!

Jealous too!

Was a good day to ride in N. GA. A little dense fog early on gave it a bit of a chill. But I wasn't to be stopped - had been about 2 months since I'd been up to the twisties

Fog at the Quik Trip in John's Creek about 9 a.m.

Fog cleared by the time I got up to Dahlonega. But the roads were awful from all the sand/gravel/salt that had been smeared everywhere a few days back during that (world famous) Georgia SnowJam we had. Still managed to get in some miles. Stopped at Rider's Hill in Dahlonega and said hello to Anthony. He had a 2014 Buell 1190 RS on display in his showroom. MSRP of $40k (had the "carbon package"). Impressive looking machine.

Place was almost empy. Just a couple of other bikes. But Anthony had the place open and there was fresh coffee. So worth the trip and stop. Pic of Rider Hill parking lot around noon.
(Yeah, that's right, I got a base. Suck on that, all you "R Bois")

Ride safe Brother.

I believe Don is out of the hospital BTW. I'm trying to get confirmation.

Time to start planning again. I know your in Brother.

You can count on me to be there. Post up some dates/suggestions. I don't do facebook like Kevin and the rest of the girls. I have some commitments for weekends of May 2-4 (US Desmo Rally in Mt. Airy NC) and May 7-11 (Ducati.ms ECM V in Fontana). But otherwise, I'm free.
Two-Wheel Inn was nice last Oct. Wouldn't mind holding it there again. But whatever works is good.

And yup, let us know about Don.

Glad you got a few miles in! Up here it's too warm for sledding and too cold for riding!

My face went numb from watching that stupid ball game, this afternoon I contemplated bowling with the kids but they called me a jerk and told me to wait it out like a man, lol.

See, this is where I'm at...

Sorry, I don't usually indulge in self-pity, but these are desperate times. ;-)

We got a nice sun around 3 PM and I went around the Lake Lanier, nothing fancy but better then not riding.

Here some pics

We should ride together sometimes, I live in Alpharetta/John's creek area.
