Okay, so I am planning 2 weeks in Italy for my honeymoon, and well... I have set aside a day to do a track day at Mugello. I will need to rent all equipment, bike etc etc to do this and I have been searching the interwebs to find a place that does all this.

Has anyone had the opportunity to ride Mugello through an organization that offers this? Or know of any that they can point me in the direction of. :D Thanks

Shoot Cristian an email

He speaks good English and hires out a track bike (not Ducati), and looks after you all day . Situated about 8km from the track. PM me if you want more details

I will shoot him an email, thanks. I can't believe how hard this is... seems like a lot of companies either dont have their calendars made yet or dont go there.

in this date it ´s dificult, they go spain. :)

Yup.. i am getting a lot of no's that they dont go there then OR that they dont go there at all, and that was one of them... I have unverified news that the track is closed the month of Feb, so i am waiting to hear back from Mugello for this to confirm.

I know a race team there that hired us an R6 recently and also a team that do GSXR, I'll see if I can get the details for you. As said above though, you're not travelling at the best time for it. That said its still a better climate than six months of the year in the UK :)

a friend of mine did this last summer used a company called Promo Racing run by Rafanelli Francesco.

Bike and set up were second the none,

Promo Racing organise trackdays, they linked up with a UK company we used this summer for Imola and Mugello. Good group of people and we would recommend them, they hire the new GSXR600 and 1000 at the trackdays. Their website is [email protected]. and Filipo is the boss. There are no trackdays with Promo before March though.

Seven Team CTBK are the race team I was thinking of who hired us the R6 a few months ago. They were a great bunch of people and super helpful, making a big effort on setting the bike up specifically for my other half. Their email is [email protected]. If you do contact them mention Valentina Tremolati from London.

sorry for the delay, but yes, they did reach out to me regarding riding Mugello in Feb-early march. However they are closed

Thank you and your girlfriend for all the help. Sadly, Mugello riding will not be happening on this trip.

I forget that tracks close for the winter, I live in florida and we ride year round
