hey guys, my right mirror seems loose. it moves around very easily and after about 60mph or so, it pivots in very easy. i dont know how to tighten the mirror or if there is a way. any ideas?

buy the rizoma lol if you don't do that enjoy the build quality and soul of your 1199 its part of the wonderful ownership experience. oh yea sorry this doesn't happen so flame me

seriously though i have the rizoma vollace mirrors they are expense but they actually work

There are 2 screws inside the front fairing, use an Allen wrench to tight it back, it takes 2 seconds at most.

Think what he means is the glass part that sags when riding. Had that on mine, very annoying!

Ended up with CRG arrow mirrors and Luxmachine turn signals.

+1 - I dumped the stock mirrors too. I went with the Rizoma Veloces like Mark did. They work much better than stock as far as vibration and movement and definitely look better, but they are on pretty short stalks so you kinda have to move around to see completely behind you.

I don't think there's a fix for that, Azimm....I have the same problem with my left side mirror. A dealer should replace it under warranty unless it was caused by a tip-over, etc.

yea it has never been tipped over or wrecked. its been like that since the first couple hundred miles. i don't want to get rid of them completely, even though i like the looks of no mirrors, i really do use them a lot just to keep track of whose coming up on me during spirited riding with my friends etc. you guys probably all make alot more than me so buying $450 mirrors is a joke but unfortunately its not for me at this point. wont be long before it is though! just gotta keep working hard in my carreer. im only 26. i will ask my dealer for a replacement though thanks guys!
