I'm finally getting these on (thanks in no small part from heckling from Steve). I had initially thought silver to match stock rearsets, but considering black (as they are in stock). Anybody put black pegs on their stock rearsets? If so, can I see a picture?

I fitted red one's, did contemplate fitting black one's though. Whatever colour you go for they will be far better than the shocking standard pegs ;)

Was gonna buy pegs as well but debating on the woodcraft sets.....

 ....$549 V's 39 Euro's (not sure what that converts to in $) for the Rizoma pegs. Obviously it would depend on what you need them for, I just didn't want my feet falling off the pegs mid corner hence the cheap option. The Rizoma pegs are IMHO excellent value for money and perform brilliantly in the wet as well which is always a bonus :D

The stock pegs suck. I would like to buy new rearsets but was also thinking about just buying new pegs for the time being. Claymore, thanks for the picture. I was curious how black pegs would look on the factory rearsets. Not too bad. As cosmok said, I think it would look good with carbon fiber heel guards as well.

Hate to be another "lurker." Have to ask the question to Si1199, what screen are you using. Don't normally like that dark of material, but have to say your's looks absolutely wonderful..... Looks like I'll be adding a few items to my winter wish list...

I put Gilles CNC foot pegs on mine from shift tech, I am delighted with them, they perform well and look fantastic!

same...I put Gilles too! works just perfect.... well any footpeg brand would be better than the stock oem pegs, for as long as its knurled or has a more grippy machining onto it...

Difficult choice though......

Looks to me they both look equally as good. And they have black in stock, have to order silver. Impatience tips the scales. Black it is.

Thanks everybody. On a side note of my own idiocy, I can decide to buy the whole damn hyper-expensive Tri with but a passing thought. But black or silver PEGS! Now that takes some time to consider.

I share your pain... sometimes the most simple purchases for this bike are the most difficult..ironically...Congrats on seeing the light anyway..:D
