Hey Guys,

I know rearsets comes up a fair bit on this forum and it's really each to their own for brands, looks and purpose ie track, road etc.

My budget is $5-$600 and don't want to spend anymore. I suppose the Rizoma fits the budget but I just want to ask a few questions before purchasing.

Questions:

1. Does the DP Carbon Heel Guards fit with the Rizoma sets?
2. The Quick Shifting works exactly like the stock sets?
3. Installation is an easy DIY process?

Any additional feedback from guys that are using the rearsets would be great and any disadvantages!

Thanks!:)

I have them.
1. The DP carbon heal guards don't fit.
2. Quickshift works the same.
3. Installation is an easy DIY process.
4. Go easy on it when you remove the brake lite switch I crushed it just a bit and had to buy a new one.
5. Use locktight only after all is fit togeather and working ie brake light.
6. I love Mine :)

I just ordered the Gilles rearsets, hoping to get them next week. Anyone have experience / opinions on those? They were a little over $500.

No Dp carbon heel guard as already stated.
I have them as well and in my opinion, they are an excellent set and a great value. I got them for 495 at PJ's parts, awesome customer service by the way. Cleanest, best looking rearset for the panigale I think, although not as adjustable in terms of height as others (only 2 settings).
Quickshifting to me feels more solid with these than with the stock, no complaints.
Installing had its pains, thanks to the globs of locktight that some of the bolts had, but its not complicated or anything.

Gilles black here. They're a charm to fit, look bitchin' and if the snow can melt I'll get to try them out

That makes sense. I have it, just always wondered, as not all other brands have it. Thanks!

Yeah I just ordered one, the GB covers, the COX guard, CD hole plugs, and a CD adj. shift rod :).

Just realized I have to drop the whole radiator, lol...

Damn, I spent money on the DP Heel Guards and just hoped if i did the upgrade that it would not go to waste!

Thank you all for your replies!

I have the Rizoma

DP carbon does not fit
Quick shifter works exactly the same
Really easy to install. Pain to remove the stock OEM rear sets due to the amount of excess locktite.
