Road is now up on Netflix, if you haven't seen it yet it's worth watching. Mighty tough bunch of lads.

Just watched...amazing (& tragic) story.

I had no idea that the two major crashes in Robert Dunlop's career were due to equipment failures. I also didn't realize that both brothers were in their late 40's when they died.

Watched it other day.

Joey and Robert Dunlop's "long" career and even with many deaths around them, they just could not stop and keep racing until their own death.

I was thinking to myself, what else they need to prove? like Joey winning the TT at his old age when no one thought he could and Robert's winnings after the massive injuries and using the brake with his left hand! Hell, I still have problem with my right hand braking. lol.

They are legends for sure.

how can you keep on racing after you go through such a tragedy... Dulop families are true racers who are born to race... great film...

Loved this movie.... the passion skill drive and desire was amazing.... Seems fitting in a way that both brothers died racing.... in a way... A whole 'nother breed of riders that perhaps we do not see anymore??? Although their sons are carrying the tradition to a large extent...

I think it comes down to this is what they know, and it's what they do. Joey and Robert just played the odds too long and got caught out. Robert's fatal crash occurred from a reflexive memory response, when that 250 seized he grabbed the clutch, but he had to put the front brake on the left after his terrible IOM crash, he had no strength in his right arm anymore. So he locked the front and down he went at full chat.
