i didn't want to high jack the racing thread. so here it is. we have coming up in moto gp Argentina. Brand new nobody has experience there. I am not asking for anybody but rossi in this thread. All you supporters you said he is back so where does he come in at a track he has never been on. After qatar he was back (just like last year) now he comes in 8th at COTA. So lets see

i say he comes in 6th.

I feel this is a bit like predicting which horse will win a race - no information to really go off of, it's just betting since no one knows anything about the track. That being said, I think a range is an appropriate guess and I'm going to put him 2nd-4th.

I have one question for you - what if he beats all the Yamahas in Argentina and still finishes 6th - is he still done?

+1 - I think third.

yep, here's my prediction :

1. MM
2. JLo
3. 46
4. pedrobot
5. Bradlwurst
6. Dovi
7. Smith
8. Aspargus

though 6-8 might change, Iannone might be in this game as well.

Crutchlow will blame the loud exhaust this time.

unless a crash we all know MM93 will win the race. the reason i asked is because almost EVERYBODY (select few like myself didnt) said rossi 2nd in qatar ment he is back. he is good at qatar where he finished 2nd 2 years in a row.
the reason i said 6th is because he was never at COTA (last year) and he came in 6th.

Phil i like your names pedrosabot lol

1.MM
2.Ped
3.JLO
4.Rossi
5.Bradle

Now this is my prediction blind...let me get back to you on the 26th!!!

spoiler alert rossi

so whats the excuse this race. i know the bike took him wide too many times right? so he came in forth which is last cause the other bikes can't keep up. I know he is back

I guessed third in our Argentina thread so I'm good with that. I was only off by one place. :)

Well, you know Bradle ...... him over and pushed him waaaaay off the line...Other than that, it was an amazing race in the beginning and throughout!!!

But a couple of crashes screwed my lineup for fantasy, I had the first 2 positions correct and I put rossi ahead of JLO for my own personal side bet...And I think he would have beat him if he wasnt pushed wide...

Lorenzo pretty much never made a mistake and rode as hard as he could the whole race. Rossi ran wide in the early laps, dropped to 7th, then got shoved clear to the edge of the track by Bradl, then came back and passed him and finished only 1.6 seconds behind Lorenzo. I think that was pretty respectable for the old man Rossi.

Well it ended they way I thought it would. It was exciting to watch...more than usual. Watching Hayden get pipped by his team mate and for the second time by another open Honda makes me think he won't survive another season, (unless he wants to follow Collin Edwards' GP for geriatrics approach to his career).

He would have been on the podium this weekend in Assen had he swallowed a little pride.

Too Bad I really like him and wish him well. I still have an autographed from him dirt tracking when he was 16.
