Rotobox RBX2 Carbon Fiber Wheels - BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!!!

Ok, so this is heresy coming from me who has been so vocal in my support of the RBX2 wheels as the superior option to BST. It makes sense in light of this bombshell: I'm turning to the dark side and getting a loaded 2015 S1000RR. Much more on that in another thread, but this one is about selling my most beloved mod on the 1199.

You can read my detailed review on the RBX2 carbon fiber wheel here: My new Rotobox RBX2 Carbon Fiber Wheels - Ducati 1299 Forum

Basic facts:

Weight (verified on the Cycle Pro digital scale against actual 1199 base, S and BST CF wheels, all with OEM rotors, spacers and bearings) - 8.5 pounds lighter than the base Enkei wheels, 4.2 pounds lighter than S/Tri/R wheels and 1 pound, 3 ounces lighter than BST 1199 wheels. Most importantly over aluminum wheels, the most weight is lost in the rim, so the polar moment of inertia - the force you work against when steering the bike - is reduced by over 1/3.

Roughened tire bead surfaces to prevent tire slip on front and rear wheels

Less than 3,000 miles on-road-only, in pothole-free central Florida. No damage, no stories. A couple of minor nicks in the black aluminum anodizing of the rear wheel center hub, purely cosmetic and difficult to see from 5 feet.

$3,500 new. BLACK FRIDAY SALE $2649 shipped within the 48 contiguous US states - save $850! Actual shipping to overseas locations. Not currently accepting offers as I will go to eBay before selling for less.

Bitubo ECH-29 Gas-Charged Fork Cartridges, XXF-61 Racing Shock, Gas-Charged Steering damper, Termignoni Slip-Ons + Upmap, TWM Folding Levers + Remote Adjuster, Rizoma RRC Rearsets, DP Reverse Shifter, and Motoprixcambi un-used/un-painted 1199 race bodywork coming soon when I have the chance to convert the bike back to stock.

These three pictures wouldn't upload to Photobucket for some reason. Attaching them here.

Keep em for your 1299. You know you're eventually coming back from the dark side, Darth Vader.
For all you guys agonizing over the difference in Dyno sheets between the Termis and the Akra, spend the money here and make it all a moot point.

Nice wheels and GLWS.

I think WhitePani13 wants this for his new all carbon R !? heh

JeffD is very nice guy to deal with.

Man, the rush to sell all your crap to get the latest/greatest has made it crowded in here - TTT!

New price - $2700 shipped in 48 US states, actual shipping costs to other locations. Save $800 over new. These are less than some aluminum wheels for the Panigale while being a whopping 4+ pounds lighter than the lightest forged aluminum wheels you can get and 1.3 pounds lighter than BST CF.

Just in time for Christmas :D

C'mon people! This is dollar for dollar the biggest performance improvement you can make to your 1199. The bike will accelerate, brake and turn faster, while the suspension will also work better with so much less unsprung mass to control. Plus, if bling is your thing, there is nothing more bling than a set of CF wheels!

I need to make a deposit on my new bike so BUY THESE WHEELS!!!!

BLACK FRIDAY SALE - NOW $2649 SHIPPED to lower 48 USA, actual shipping everywhere else. SAVE $850 over new and these are MINT!

OK - now accepting TRADE + CASH for 1199 S/R/Tri OEM wheels. If you have been wanting to upgrade your S/R/Tri wheels to the ULTIMATE in lightweight and bling, here is your chance for a great deal.

I'll take clean S/R/Tri OEM wheels plus $1500 for these RBX2 Carbon Fiber wheels. Remember, these RBX2 wheels are $3500 a set new, and these wheels are in nearly as-new condition. So you can get into them for less than half new out-of-pocket when you trade me your "Chicken Foot" wheels.

As someone who helped get you into these beauties Jeff, I hate to see them go but am sure you have your reasons dude. Either way they are in superb condition and will make someone a very happy owner for sure bro. GLWS and I will send you anyone I know seeking a great set of CF.

Best wishes my friend. Miss ya buddy! :)

I have Rotobox on my Tri: And they are great. Top quality, tires changed two times and still no scratch. All people looking at your bike can't believe that they are full CF. Sometimes they don't like the design but are still starring at them. Because your bike looks really LIGHT and NASA!
