I need to ask.. I see most people opt for the SBK brembo rotors, (gold carriers) than for the brembo T-drive rotors. Can anyone explain the pros and cons of both.

Thank you.

I've had both, just different button design. T drives float around more make a bit more noise. HPK look better. T drive only come in 320mm

A more interesting discussion would be 320 vs 330 mm, IMO 320 is the way to go [emoji106]

Interesting. I was thinking this question myself.

for 320, dont you need to take a spacer out?

Agreed, I always run 320's on track/race bikes. If for no other reason it's so much easier to take the calipers off for tire changes. There's also the (theoritical at least) reduction in gyroscopic force to aid in turning. For braking performance, I think the brake pads make much more of a difference than an extra 10mm of rotor diameter. I've ran HPK's and T-Drives on quite a few different bikes, and as far as function I've never noticed any difference at all other than what was noted about the T-Drives being noisier when pushing the bike around in the paddock. The HPK's are a little cheaper and depending on the bike color the gold rotor carriers look pretty cool IMO.

Thank you guys for the input. I was kind of looking at doing a whole Brake upgrade, rotors, calipers, MC, and wanted to ask.
