Just gone thru the magically 620/1000 miles/km this morning. Whilst giving her a wipe down after the run I noticed the carbon around the termi outlet. I guess this is because she's running rich? The termis have been on since the day I picked her up. Is this usual to have this much carbon or do I need to get the Dealer boys to sort this out?? Many thanks,
PS - the clean bit is where I rubbed carbon off to show the contrast.

when your dash starts up does show a racing screen or evo screen or anything??

So that's a good question and exactly why I asked my question as it shows the "Racing" screen so at least the upload was correctly done - I have the slip-ons not the full system. Therefore, I was under the impression the ECU would adjust the engine to get the correct stoichiometric ratio and so somewhat surprised to see these carbon deposits??

Wipe it off and see if it continues...perhaps it was just during initial break in and has diminished with time.

If it continues; check that you are using the correct octane gas and then get a check up prn.
