My 1199s was like this as well. It started doing it intermittently about 200 miles ago. It gradually got worse until the last ride of the fall back in November. I tried to take it for a ride in December and it wouldn't even start. I procured the Melcodiag software and the correct diagnostic adaptor and there were no trouble codes at all. So, I dug in the old fashioned way and started checking everything I could. I swappewd out MAP sensors - no change. Then I swapped out the spark plugs even though they didn't look too bad and suddenly the bike ran again like normal. I was surprised but the spark plugs were apparently no good. The front one is horrible to get out. Let us know what you find out on your bike. I wish you the best of luck.
