Take a battery tender jump lead, hook it up to the battery, and take another tender jump lead, cut the terminals off the ends and hook in a disconnect of your choice (I'd put in a fuse too) and extend the wires out to tap into whatever type of outlet you need.

For the heated grips, I'd hook it into the horn's leads assuming the fuse it uses will support the draw. Just don't use the horn when the grips are on
