Hi Guys

New to the forum and looking to upgrade my exhaust. I have a stealth look black 2014 1199s and looking to get an exhaust. The price is not really a concern so just wondering which one you guys recommend. I do want a loud exhaust. I am more of a weekend rider.

They are both obnoxiously loud.

Like in freaking .... your ears out loud.
:D
(Shameless plug)
But there are alternatives:

I agree with Phl. Not to sound rude, but I would recommend searching the forums, as there are plenty of threads on these pipes, but i would not choose either.

Exhausts sounds & looks can be a very subjective topic, but I have been around an Austin Racing 1199 and there is NO WAY, I would ever put that on my bike.

If you are not a fan of Akro or termi's the FM Pipe is unique and different, but whatever pipe you choose, please make sure you get a tune for it, as well.

Best of luck

Would you guys recommend the Akra instead. The Austin racing arrived in inconnel but it's just straight pipe. I'm a weekend rider but not on the track.

The Akra looks like a lot of engineering went into it.

If you want MotoGp loud get the SC.. If not get Akra or Termis at the very least..

Send your cans to Phil and have him take care of them...I've never been more happy. Great guy to deal with and he keeps you updated through the whole process. It's loud...but more importantly it's making power -- dyno proven

Thanks Guys! I went with the SC Exhaust after seeing the austin racing one. The look of the SC was better and the price was better as well. I did want the MotoGP sound as I do not ride this thing every day.

Ill post some photos of it after I get it done with all the upgrades. Also, went with Rizoma rearsets, which I am happy about.

New to the forum but I've got a SC-Project CRT exhaust on my 1199. Absolutely love it. It's really not too loud until 6k...course there's no flapper either...
