Search feature

i know a few of us on here have been joking about the search feature. it always comes up and its annoying 100 posts on the same thing. In all seriousness though the search feature is TERRIBLE. I put in what i am looking for and i never ever find it. For example just now i put in evo tech radiator guards and guess what got 100 posts on everything but what i am looking for.

So for now on i refrain from bashing the repeated posts or saying use search until THE SEARCH FEATURE ACTUALLY WORKS. Now i will post what i need to post in the next thread.

I think a part of the problem lies with where the post ends up. Within this General section people will post How to's, Gear, and Mechanical conversations. Seems people want to be in the general public and don't think others will go into the other sections. If people use the How to section, the new 1199 owners won't ask as many dumb How to questions in the General section.
My point to add to this conversation is that the search function may not be required as often if the post is in the correct section. I suppose this may be just my opinion though...

Or "guard" or "radiator", a competitor's company name can sometimes be of help. Select the advance feature and search titles only.....But I agree, the search function in any of the forums could be better.

The other method is to use google....type "site: ducati1199.com evotech"
