Hey there, just wondering what people have used to keep their Pani's secure at home. Pics are always welcome too

I have a heavy duty ground anchor from pragmasis, a 19mm almax chain, anti-pinch pin through the swinging arm hole and a squire 65cs padlock - all mehind garage door and a CAT1 alarm. If you get it then I did my best

4 garage door bolts plus large lock, and a car is always butt up to the garage door. I'm for ever moving it around the garage so its not secured in the garage unless we go away then it has more chains around it than Harry Houdini.

My bike stays at the shop. Makes it easier when going to the track. When it's home, garage, insurance and my gun.

That is secure! What is the unemployment rate where you live?

Before you think "it can't happen to me" a good MotoGP-loving friend of mine just had his two Panis stolen from his garage in broad daylight. Disassembled the garage door panel to gain access. One was insured, his track bike was not. Death too easy a punishment for the perpetrators.

works wonders thats the sig 716 tactical rifle. 308 round. if you want smaller rounds you can get the 516 shoots 223 i believe

Serious question..If someone was stealing your bike you'd would shoot to kill?

HEH HEH, I use the old lady that lives next door to watch my bike for me :) JK she's a sweet old lady and wouldnt harm a fly...but she is watching though...

Firearms aren't much of a deterrent if you're not around when your bike is being stolen. Professional thieves don't just randomly wander up to your garage, they probably know your schedule and when you're not likely to be home.

I'd use 911 - Chased a guy that had broken into my car. Phone in hand talking to 911 - police met us 2 blocks later after I caught him. 18 year old kid - was sooooo sorry once caught.

A friend of mine had his 899 pinched recently. I'd have loved to have been there when it was happening, but in CA you run a big risk of being sued by the person stealing your bike if you injure them and you run the risk of jail time because California.

Texas has the right idea: Carry permits and the right to defend your property. You'd have to be a very brave or very stupid motorcycle thief in TX.

Honestly... I live in an apartment complex and keep mine on its paddock stand in front of my storage cage in the car park. Live in a good area and have never had any trouble with any of my bikes, with that being said I ride them a lot so they aren't parked there much.

Three red kelpies seem to keep most undesirables out of the house, haven't seen a Jehovah's Witness in years.

Cheers
