In the garage looking at love...
So, I have a set of 1098 Forged wheels I was using on my 1199. I bought the front wheel adaptors and ran them last year. A few issues from last year...

One, the tire guy I had swap tires at the track thought using a screw driver was a great idea when needing to remove the wheel weights (Stick on style). Second, the wheels come with some seriously thin paint and just didn't look good after a while. The cleaner to get the weights off, etc... Nothing terrible...

I decided to have them painted similar in terms of color, but just a lot more metallic flake.

I am wondering if I should sell them or keep them? They are the forged ones as seen here from early last year. Love the 916 look and would keep, but I also love my S wheels and thinking maybe buy another set of those and sell these...

What says the forum?

Pics on the bike. These are at the time they were OEM. The only difference is glossy and more flake...

I'm sorry, there are wheels in that photo? I can't see them, perhaps you posted the wrong one...

I don't agree!

How cool is that!
I think you need to PM me some of those my friend. After all, you were my favorite movie from the 80s!! :)

I can vouch for him.. totally his bike.. I know the shop and the bike well... plus I've seen the other pictures :) very nice

I think that it is worth mentioning that the front and rear appear to be very well balanced.

However, I think you need to have someone help you fine tune the suspension on your bike.

I'm not sure if this is meant to be talking about the .... or actually the bike. Matt Carr from CarrMoto and Ducati Indianapolis are constantly finding new setup and development advancements. We actually were using a suspension setup for that event as seen in the pic and was stellar. However, we changed the shim stack and I have more feel. Maybe even a little too much. But, over winter, the shim stack change made some differences occur when we got back out this spring.

I like the balance and I really like how much more feel I have. We will be trying more adjustments in tire pressure as we tried some changes for Mid-Ohio over the weekend and the change was somewhat positive. But, I increased pace with the same pressure and got some chatter. So, we will look at things and see about some adjustments. It's a balance and the issue I find with this bike is that it seemingly is MUCH more sensitive to minimal changes than the other bikes I have raced. So, we make small changes and try them and see how they work.

The issue now is tires and edge grip and drive out of corners. I am working hard on that and we are getting there. But, Matt has changed tire brands and the change has led to some stronger drive out of corners. But, he is not able to get the confidence of the trail braking from the previous brand which I am on. So, it is a game of what do you value more? I prefer so much more front end feel and will sacrifice a little drive loss if making up in trailing and entry. So, we have some work to do next month at the races at Mid-Ohio and with four days of racing, I am sure we will have some hits and even some misses!

Sorry, but I have to disagree:(
Her muscles aren't all that big.
Se has quite a magnificent physique;)

If we were all in the sack together, I wouldn't climb over her to get to you. AT ALL.
:)
