Hi fellow Ducatisti,

Anyone can recommend a reputable Ducati service center in the Atlantic City, NJ area?

Thank you very much in advance, ciao,

Worth the drive or ask them about pickup and delivery service

Dan in service is a modest pro and very knowledgeable for any very specific needs but the whole team is A+
and they shouldn’t be booked a month out right now but heads up: during riding months they book 2 months out so good luck getting emergency service immediately

if it’s just getting tyres replaced you gotta become friendly a local shop but for DESMO, if you’re not doing it yourself, they are the only ones.

Otherwise, schedule with Kevin in service, ship yer bike to Gulf Coast Ducati of Fort Myers to complete the service and then enjoy the rest of your vacation riding in the warm Florida sun on the pristine Florida roads with no mask on because this is America.

I will contact them right away...

Quaker City Motorsports hands down
It’s only my personal experience but I have had two extremely lackluster service experiences at Montgomeryville.
Example:
Their self recommended tech advised to decline the warranty repair on a leaking rear shock on my new 2017 XDiavel because he wrote that I (me) had to remove the rear shock to remove the passenger pegs I took off.
Not accurate at all.
I had to speak to a National guy at Duc N.A. (Who owns an XD as well) to inform Montgomeryville their tech was wrong and to honor the warranty.
And that’s not even the story about having my 899 for 5 weeks and never calling me to say that they lost the repair order and never started the oil change and tire replacement.

needless to say, they never got to touch my 959, V2 or SFV4.

Quaker City Motorsports have been perfect each time since I left Montgomeryville. Word to the wise...

I have to drive right past Quaker City to get to Montgomeryville and I have done it many times.

I purchased my Daytona 675 there (Quaker) [Manayunk Triumph] in 2014 and they are very good, then they excitingly finally brought on Duc which is great except the master tech improperly installed the GP Shift kit for my 1299, so now they’re only good for Tyres in a pinch.

the master techs at Montgomeryville cc know these bikes inside and out vs Quaker City just seems to be pretending or faking

I did buy my V4 from Duc Sanford. I have no loyalty to these shops, I will go wherever I can get the best price.
But for local service I only go where I trust

Sure they had yer bike for 5 weeks and that’s ...... but now you know you need to have yer secretary be very persistent with them. They do good work but it is yer bike and you need to stay very on top of it

the way to tell if yer bike visited with a good master tech is if you don’t have to take the fairings off and put them on properly bc they weren’t put on properly at the shop..
Also, it’s a good sign if there aren’t any tools hanging off yer bike when they deliver it back to you.

For example, my local Official Triumph service center returned my bike to me once with a wrench on the front brake caliper bleed nipple. The tech totally test drive my bike with a wrench hanging off from bleeding the brakes. I was like “yo dude”
That wasn’t bad tho, they always do great work too but sometimes ...... mistakes are made

look if we’re being honest, I am very serious when I say you need 2 Ducs so you can alternate them from the serve department to yer garage/showroom

On the rare ocasion I see a Duc out in the wild, I always think to myself that he’s probably riding it to or from the Official Duc service center. JK these are way better than my Range Rover, mine was a lemon and every time I see one out in the wild I really do wonder if there taking it in for service. Usually they go in for service on the roll back cause they’re all lemons

I respectfully disagree on the good work part.
I surely did stay on top of the situation with a weekly call, only to find out in the end that I was lied to by their service dept. regarding part arrival and that the bike was being worked on when it was in fact not even touched by a tech.
The MCC service department is literally why I went to Rockville (7 hrs away from me) to buy my '18 XDiavel and then Quaker City to buy my '21 Pani V2 and my '21 SFV4.
Thats nearly $60k in vehicle sales and all of the service on all 5 of my Ducs (and my close friend's bikes) lost from one customer due to two poor experiences and then treated rudely when I would inquire about my service.

Quaker City all the way for me. John and Mike @ QC have won me over. SO much so that I bought two new Ducs from them in the last 12 months.
